SPCC FALL 2020 CLASSES
Due to COVID 19, SPCC has decided that all classes (that can) will operate remotely for the first eight weeks. ALL seated classes have transitioned to virtually blended; you are responsible for attending classes virtually, if the section is labeled VB. You should not be coming to any SPCC campus for college classes, except for those students enrolled in a welding class.
Example #1: MAT-171-1VB5 MW 08:00AM-10:20AM
This student is enrolled in a seated class that has been temporarily transitioned to virtually blended. The number (1) in front of the VB denotes this is a seated class. The student would be required to be in front of his/her computer at 8:00 AM-10:20 AM on Mondays and Fridays for his/her SPCC math class for the first eight weeks of class. SPCC will decide about the second eight weeks later in the Fall semester. Students should receive an email from their instructor regarding the platform (Skype, Blackboard Collaborate, Zoom, etc.) they will use for the class.
Example #2: ENG-111-IN3
This student is enrolled in a 100% online class (IN = Internet). This student would not be required to be in front of the computer at a specific time.
Example #3: PSY-150-VB1 09:30AM-10:45AM
This student is enrolled in a 100% virtually blended class. Notice there is no number in front of the VB. The student would be required to be in front of his/her computer at 9:30 AM-10:45 AM on Mondays for his/her SPCC PSY class for the entire semester.
